The Life Free Chemotherapy Scheme

The Life Free Chemotherapy Scheme (TLFCS)

This notice serves to inform the public that “The Life Seva Trust” is introducing a Free Chemotherapy Scheme to assist needy and impoverished patients in alleviating their financial burden during surgery or medical treatment, in addition to our existing program, “TLSS” (The Life Seva Scheme, held on the last Sunday of every month).

Scheme Provisions:

  • Upon registration with TLFCS, patients will receive a corresponding card. Presenting this card at the pharmacy will entitle patients to receive chemotherapy medications completely free of charge (if the cost is less than Rs. 10,000/-), or they will receive a cash benefit of Rs. 10,000/- for the purchase of chemotherapy drugs (priced as per non-card holders).
  • Patients at LIGG who are not cardholders and undergo surgery will be provided chemotherapy medications at the purchase price (inclusive of buying price + GST), with no additional benefits provided by pharmacy staff on chemotherapy drugs.

Who is Eligible for the Scheme?

  • Patients holding BPL cards or those identified as economically disadvantaged by local MLA, Sarpanch, School Headmaster, or other prominent community members, receiving treatment in dormitories (both surgical and medical management patients) or non A/C single rooms.

Who is Not Eligible for the Scheme?

  • Patients staying in A/C or Deluxe rooms.

Data Management: All patient details must be recorded in a register and collected in the form of coupons issued to each patient on a monthly basis, then analyzed annually.
