Paediatrics is the branch that deals with care of the newborn, children and adolescents, in the age group of 0-18. Treatment of a child needs specialized training and skills. LIGG offers comprehensive diagnosis and management of the entire scope of clinical care for children in the paediatric age group. Our goal is to not only enable a child to survive, but also remain healthy and attain optimum growth and development.
Some common paediatric problems which lead to a majority of morbidity and mortality in infants and children are –Preterm birth complications, Low birth weight, Pneumonia, Neonatal infections, Diarrhoea, Birth asphyxia, Vaccine preventable diseases
