- The Life Free Food Scheme
This is to inform the public that “The Life Seva Trust” is launching a Free Food Scheme to provide assistance to needy and impoverished patients, reducing their financial burden during surgery or medical treatment, in addition to our existing program, “TLSS” (The Life Seva Scheme held on the last Sunday of every month).
Scheme Provisions:
- (A) Upon presentation of Free Food coupons at the canteen counter on the ground floor of LIGG Hospital, patients will be provided with free breakfast (between 8am-9am), lunch (between 12.30pm-2.00 pm), and dinner (between 8.00 pm-9.30pm).
- (B) The canteen will be reimbursed on a weekly basis for the meals provided.
- (C) The canteen must offer at least 2 additional items besides the main item, such as rice and chapati.
- (D) Simply obtaining “Free Food Coupons” will not entitle individuals to financial benefits; these coupons are intended solely for food purposes.
Who can avail the Scheme?
- All patients staying in the dormitory at LIGG, including both surgical and medical patients.
- Patients holding BPL cards or identified as economically disadvantaged by local MLA, Sarpanch, Corporator, School Headmaster, or any other patient attending the Free Cancer Screening program on the second Sunday of every month.
Who cannot avail the Scheme?
- Patients staying in cabins.
Data Management: All patient details must be recorded in a register and collected in the form of coupons issued to each patient on a monthly basis, then analyzed annually.
